On Oct 7 the many curated and spontaneous exhibits and manifestations took to the street and to our beloved host space, the Wyckoff Beer Garden !
The sidewalks were claimed by joyous, curious crowds, performers, live art, body painting and installations. The artist and designer stalls together with our music stage were situated in the Wyckoff Beer Garden, simply a few feet up the block on Wyckoff Ave. The spirit, energy and free expression with art is better captured in the many pictures than with words.
Call for walkers of our first small ART PARADE, part of the Bushwick Troutman Art Fest!
We invite all characters, costumed goons, circus performers, burners, giant puppets, weirdos, dancers, stilters, body painted models, and all the friends of the arts!!
The line up at the Art Fest is from noon – 4, including puppet shows, body painting, styling, photo booth, and sample acts.

Uta Brauser’s vision of a venue for artists, by artists, outdoors with the regular rhythm of a weekly occurrence brought Creative Grove to life, in Jersey City NJ.
An outdoor lounge setting with music by Deejays and musicians recreated a living room or speakeasy environment in the public space. Performances spontaneous or planned, art installations, participatory art projects, combined with works on display by artists and makers, creatives, designers, artisans, form a meeting place and curious environment for the community.
Pioneering this scenario in Jersey City, it is well described as design for social innovation. Such events weave a net of interaction and lucrative environment, they become a platform for pluralistic expression. The multi faceted interlinking relations grow a strong presence and need in the community
The weekly occurrence throughout the year becomes the life blood of the area, especially with the presence of music.
CREATIVE GROVE artist & designer market has developed the destination factor of Downtown Jersey City, grown pedestrian traffic, it has radiated Economic Development for artists and the community.
